Cassidy Miller took these fantabulous pictures of my growing baby boy!!! I can't believe how fast they grow! I can't even believe he used to fit inside my belly!! I bet you guys thought I would never post again ugh??? Seriously, life has been so busy! Chase is working in Las Vegas and only gets to come home on the weekends - sometimes on Wednesdays. I am back to work and school full time, and playing "single" mom during the week!! I sometimes feel like I don't have a minute to breathe! But we are survivors and my beautiful baby makes it all worth it! Thanks Cass for taking these! You are so talented!!

San Diego Vacation!

We had a blast in San Diego / Southern California this weekend! We went to Seaworld, Coronado Island and the Huntington Beach! We had so much fun! And surprisingly Aiden did really well! He was so beat when we got home he nearly slept all day! We loved the Shamu and Sea Lion shows at Seaworld and our new dream home destination spot is in Coronado island....the smallest homes are only 1.2 million dollars!!!!! (Pocket change!) But the area is spectacular!!

4th of July and Swimming

We have been having fun in the sun! We spent the 4th of July in Vegas, there are a ton of parades and fun family activities. We went to the Hoover Dam with Chase's family! Jerzi loves having a baby cousin to play with close by. It was a blast!! Aiden did really good! It is so dang hot everywhere we go! Thank goodness for pools! Aiden loves the water already! Chase loves taking him in the water.....(just not for too long yet!)

I finally, with much anticipation, went into labor at 5:30pm right on my due date (June 11). Chase was working in Vegas and was anxiously awaiting my call. I stayed in observation for 1 hour to ensure I really was in labor before Chase could start driving home. He finally arrived in our hospital room #319 at about 8:30pm. I was dilated to a five at this point, but my water had still not broke. Dr Thompson had to finally brake my water at about 9:00pm. I was dilated to only a six at that point. As soon as he broke my water, contractions started getting REALLY hard. I decided to get an epidural (the best decision ever) when I was dilated to a 7. At 4:00am I was finally complete!!!

We began pushing at 4:00am with the nursing staff. NO SUCCESS! We finally had to stop when Aiden's heart rate began to decelerate as I would push! (Very Scary). Dr Thompson came at about 5:30 and we began AGAIN pushing. NO SUCCESS!! It was now 7:30am. You ask why no success???

Aiden's poor little head was turned and stuck on my ischial spine. Apparently they are very bony! Even with the doctors hands trying to turn him over, there was no room for him to budge. For 3 hours Chase and I could see the top of our babies head, with no further progress. The last hour, every push I made would decrease his heart rate (because his head was turned and his neck was getting kinked), and when I would stop pushing he would regress backwards (because my ischial spines were so prominent).

The decision to take him C-Section was made at 7:30am. Dr. Ott assisted Dr. Thompson with the C-Section (and made an impecable flawless incision very low, near the pubis). Chase got to gown up in the OR and w

atch as our beautiful boy arrived at 8:35am. His poor head was so bruised and scratched from my spines, the Doctor

s hands, and the horrific birth canal, but he was perfect to us!!

Sorry I have not updated any more pregnancy pictures!!! No baby yet!!! Dang it! Chase and I tried really hard to have him this weekend!!! Here is proof that you will not go into labor until the baby is ready...... this was our weekend:

Friday: Got my membranes stripped for the THIRD time at Dr Thompsons office, then Chase and I hiked the bloomington mountain (widow maker) behind Chase's parents house. Also tried "nipple stimulation" for 2 hours before Chase got home from work and then me and Chase "got busy".

Nothing happened!

Saturday: Woke up at six in the morning and went on a bumpy, roller coaster four wheeler ride, then me and Chase "got busy" again. I also strattled and bounced on a medicine ball for a while at Megan Andersen's house. That night I drank Castro Oil.

Nothing happened, except a very sick stomach!!!

Very disappointed I do not have a baby yet...........hopefully he comes soon!!!! Still fours days till the official due date!

SUPERCROSS SLC 2009!

We just got back from Supercross 2009, we usually go to the finals in Vegas, but since supercross was coming to Utah we decided to take advantage! We went with a bunch of our friends from SLC and St George! It was such a good race, although James Stewart won, which disappointed Chase a bit, it was still a good battle to watch!!! We stayed at my parents house in West Jordan and were able to see our good friends Brady Maw, & Sean and Meghan. Rawdee and Rachel drove up with us, and Karyann and JD met up with us up there as well! It is so fun to have friends with similar interests, it makes these events so much better to enjoy!! It was a bit cold.......good thing I had a pretty hot oven in my belly!! - (Only 6 1/2 weeks to go!!!)

ALMOST 7 MONTHS

ALMOST 7 MONTHS............trucking right along! This last few months I have been able to tell a big differences in the belly size (and lets not forget the chest...) like weekly! He is such a kicker, Chase just falls asleep with his hand on my belly while he boxes away! Besides the enormous belly, I fell so good! And can not eat enough!!! Holy cow, how can you be so hungry all the time?? He was measuring a week ahead at the last ultrasound, so who knows....he may be here sooner than we thought, but still around the beginning of June, we don't want him here to early!

We are having a BOY!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I surprised Chase on his Birthday with the good news. I gave him this cute little motorcross onesy and a mini dirtbike toy!!! He was so thrilled!! I am so excited to get the nursery ready and even more excited to see Chase as a new daddy!!!! Now that Chase is finally home, we can post another belly pic!! It is definitely gotten alot bigger!!! I will post soon!

This year was the best Christmas ever because Chase was home!!! He has been working in Texas for the last month and I have not seen him!!! Having him home was the best Christmas present ever!!! My little brother Ben also spent Christmas with us this year. Ben has been so good to live with me while Chase works out of town, it is so nice to have the extra company!!! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, we find out what our baby is in 4 weeks!! I can hardly wait!!!

My little sister tied the knot this weekend, it has been a crazy couple of weeks! She got married in St George and also had a reception in SLC, but all is well!! It turned out okay! I even stayed up past 9 o clock!!!! Her husband is a really great guy and we are so excited to have him as part of our family now!!!............Mikki Pratt took the good pictures, but we have not got them back yet!! So there will be more to come.................

CO - ED SOFTBALL SUMMER 2008

This summer I decided to try something new..........Softball. I have never played before, (except in elementary school) and I thought it would be a fun experience. One of my favorite patient's dad asked me to join his business co-ed league, Aqua Clear. It was so much fun!!!! I asked a couple of girls at work to play with me (so I wasn't the only 1st timer) and it worked out great. We did really well (for D League co ed). We should have taken the championship, but we ended up taking second place! It ended up being alright, because we got free t-shirts!!! It was fun playing a competitive sport, and meeting some really cool people (who are REALLY good at softball) ! Hopefully we will get to play again!!

The Lake

Summer time is meant to be spent on the lake at all times!! i wish!! Over Labor day we had my little brother and sister down. They brought their friends and we went out to Gunlock......not the prettiest lake, but it sure beats the bacteria and crowds of Sand Hallow! We had the best time!!

My little sister is getting married!!! Holy Cow! (that means I am getting older!!) We really love the guy she is marrying, his name is Marlin and he is a EMT for Hurricane city, and a really down to earth guy. He will definitely be a great addition to the family. They are getting married on November 1st and guess who is planning the wedding.....ME! I feel like I just got done doing my own wedding! Oh well, I think it will be really fun to plan! I just got done taking their engagement pictures, Megan Andersen :) let me borrow her camera!! I think that we got some really good shots!!!

I don't have any pictures up of our puppies posted yet! We have two miniature pintchers and they are our little babies!! We love them so much! We got Duke when we were dating prior to getting married, Duke had puppies and we kept one of them, Daisy. They are both Red / Brown. Daisy is definitely a mommas girl and Duke is definitely a daddies boy! Daisy is quite a bit smaller than Duke, we had to "take away Dukes manhood" recently, and I don't think he has forgiven us yet!! But he sure is a nicer dog now!!! Aren't they cute!!

FOUR CORNERS!

On our way to our family reunion at Laplotta Canyon near Durango, Colorado we got to stop at the four corners monument!! We have never been there and it was neat to be able to be in four places at the same time. You can tell we really dressed up for the occasion ugh??? It was such a long drive! We drove for seven hours, and camped there for 2 nights! Luckily we were able to make it back with a few inches of skin NOT covered in mesquito bites! It was pretty fun for a family reunion, this was Chases's first time meeting this side of the family, so I think it was a really good experience for him! My sister drove down with us.......and I should have many more pictures of her because I think she is getting engaged soon!!! I can not wait to help plan a wedding!!!

Our "Boring" 24th of July

Aren't some of the best days spent lazying around, with no set plans and absolutely nothing to do??? That was our 24th of July, we were so bored, but made the best of it! We relaxed, went to breakfast, went shopping (Yes, together!!) and went to the park, we sat under a tree in the shade, out of the heat and just talked. It was such a good day! Here are some of the pics from resting under the tree, neither of us even got ready for the day! (no makeup or hair done), we just kind of woke up and left the house. It was really good to just spend some quality time together! I think everyone needs those days!

The Perfect Uncle

Chase is seriously the perfect uncle. I have never seen a 24 year old male act so natural around kids. He was definetely meant for parenthood! (I wish I was too!) All his neices and nephew just adore him just as much as he adores them. Last night we visited Ashley and Jason (His sister and her husband) , Baby Hudson woke up crying and Chase went and got him from his crib, he rocked him and held him and decided it was his job to get him back to sleep, he was even searching his room for a teddy bear!! He gave him a bottle and entertained him until Ashley took over. He is amazing, I am seriously the luckiest wife in the entire world, he has an endearvering amount of patience and whole heartedly enjoys spending time with his neices and nephews. One day he will make the perfect father!

Summer Camping

One of the best parts about summer is camping!! This weekend we went out to pine valley with a gang of our friends! it was so beautiful and we had a bast!! The weather was perfect, it sprinkled cool rain in the night.....just enough to enjoy it; and the morning was overcast, so you were not waken up by the blazing hot sun. Good times....even better memories! I wish we could go camping all year round!

We have now been in our home for almost two years!! I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday we were moving in! But good things must come to an end sometime right??? Our home is now up for sale..... :( We have had so many memories in this house! Fresno

This last weekend we went out to Fresno, California for Chase's really good friend from high school Pete Hafen. He has been dating this girl (Sharmela) for like 4 years and we are so happy that they finally tied the knot. The got married on this beatuiful lake!!! It was actually a ways out of town, on the way were passed acres and acres of agriculture like grapes, oranges, apples, strawberries, etc. We decided to be a "little adventurous" and stole an orange off of a tree!! We have never had a orange tast that good!!! It was so juicy! The freshest taste ever! (I know in the picture I look pregnant...........but don't worry....its just the dress!!)

"Gothic" Friday the 13th!!

We have some pretty crazy friends to say the least, one of our friends decided to host a "friday the 13th" party.......with a gothic dress theme. (June 13). Before going, 4 of us thought, "I bet there will be a ton of people not dressed up gothic.....lets just wear something black and call it good". Nisha....was in a black summer dress, chase in a black and white pinstrip button up shirt, etc.......not at all very gothic!! When we got there every single person was dressed up gothic to the max!!! We were the only ones not dressed up, and there was like 50 people there!! Mckenzie (the host) took us into her bathroom and put black makeup on all of us to make things look a little better! As you can see from the pictures above.....we still didn't look gothic, just scary and still out of place!!!! Regardless we had a really fun night !! Thanks Mckenzie!

This weekend we went to Pepper's concert in Las Vegas. They played a poolside concert at the Hardrock Casino, they were absolutely amazing!! The best part about the whole concert was the people we were with, and we did not take one picture with them this weekend! I am so mad! We Have the best time with them everytime we do anything together. So here is a picture of us hangin out together, but it was not taken this weekend. I was never a big fan of Pepper, but I had heard a few songs and really liked them, I had no idea how cool they were in concert!!! What a fun night, we hope to see them perform many times in the future! Chase's parents let us use their time share in Vegas and it was so fun, the resort even had a lazy river! We hung out at the pool all morning, then we went to the Body Exhibition at the Tropicana. We all thought that was amazing as well, all the bodies are real ! The preservation of the human body is really immaculate! Hope your weekend was just a fun!!

Scuba Diving

I have been scuba certified for almost three years now, about as long as me and Chase have been together. This entire time I have been trying to convince Chase to get certified so we could go together, (it really is not a fun hobbie to do alone). Finally I got him to try it.........and he is completely addicted, probably more so than I am!!!! We took our first ocean trip together down in Cozumel, Mexico with Aqua Sports dive team. We had the time of our lives!! For anyone who has not been scuba diving, it is definitely something to try!!! Some of our friends went and we had an absolute blast, it is really an undescribable experience....that first breath under water in the ocean is something you can never forget. This is our first of many more exciting scuba trips!!!

The Pope Family

With sooooooo much family, we cherish the limited amount of time we get to spend with everyone. The "Pope" side of the family (nishas's adopted dads side) has so much fun together.....here we are hiking the narrows at Zions National Park. Even Joe, who was eight years old finished the whole 17 or 18 mile river hike. All of us were extremely sore for weeks, we never wanted to hike again! We walked away with bruises, open wounds, dehydration, but most of all....unforgettable family memories.

One of my fondest memories of Vegas.......I usually hate going to Vegas, I know there is so much to do in vegas, but I dont know......the city is really not for me; but this trip was so much fun!!! We stayed at the platinum hotel for the 2007 Supercross National Championship. We had perfect sunny weather, good drinks and good friends! I highly recommened this hotel to everyone!!
